Coldplay took Printed Solar on tour.

Printed Solar travelled with Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour across 18 countries, 29 venues and 91 shows, charging batteries for stage and backstage operations before being packed down and redeployed at the next venue.

02 Industrial rooftop / 2018

CHEP: Printed Solar on a load-limited roof.

Printed Solar was installed on CHEP’s industrial roof in 2018. The lightweight installation used the existing roof and was commissioned and monitored.

03 Public shade structures / 2020

The Canopy, Lane Cove: solar on a curve.

Printed Solar was installed on the curved shade structures at The Canopy in Lane Cove in 2020. It followed the canopy’s curved surface, with the installation designed to gather data on outdoor durability and performance over time.

04 Mobility / 2022

Charge Around Australia.

Printed Solar travelled around Australia with an electric vehicle in 2022. Rolls were unpacked and deployed at stops along the route to test portable solar charging.
